You have found a mate that you will have for life! Well, hopefully..
This ritual is very well known, and highly acknowledged through the pride. A lion and lioness have selected each other to be mates, and will be sent off from the pride's territory to find a place secluded enough from any pride. They will do whatever they want, for that doesn't matter towards the ritual. This time is to make them connect, and see if they can work efficiently together as a whole. Upon return, they will be awaiting a feast if their trials have been completed, and will now forever be mates.
